The portable fiber densimeter has a mini digital microscope that allows to capture images of fibers and hairs in the shaved skin of animals that are processed later in a computer, Tablet or Smartphone, in order to obtain the density of the fibers, pilose conducts and other characteristics.

Determines the following characteristics:
- • Density of pilose conducts, expressed in: Nº pilose conducts/mm².
- • Density of fibers, expressed in: Nº of fibers/mm².
- • Ratio N° de fibers/N° of pilose conducts.
- • Standard deviation of the density of fibers.
- • Standard deviation of the density of pores.
- • Coefficient of variation of density of fibers
- • Coefficient of variation of density of pores
In addition, it determines the type of pilose conduct according to the quantity of fibers that emerge from each of them, as well as obtains the graphics of the distribution of pilose conducts per quantity of fibers that emerge from each of them.
It captures images in skin areas from 0.25 up to 9,0 mm².
